Gravina in Puglia allocates €80,000 for rent assistance

The municipality of Gravina in Puglia has launched a support plan for families facing economic difficulties following a lack of funding from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport. The initiative involves a total allocation of €80,000, composed of a €65,000 state contribution and €15,000 in municipal resources.

To qualify for the benefit, residents must hold a valid lease agreement, own no other property, and report a 2025 taxable income not exceeding €15,000. Applicants must also not be receiving other measures such as ADI or RED. The ranking system will prioritize vulnerable groups, including individuals with 100% disability, minors, the elderly, and single-parent households. Benefits will range from 10% to 20% of the rent amount until funds are exhausted.
