Grażyna Kulczyk releases autobiography 'Budując

Polish businesswoman and art collector Grażyna Kulczyk is releasing her autobiography, titled ‘Budując’, on October 28. The book provides an extensive look into her childhood, personal relationships, and the development of her global business empire.

Kulczyk, recognized as one of Poland’s wealthiest women and a prominent international art collector, describes her approach to her career as being driven by interest rather than a desire to compete with men. She has maintained a personal philosophy of balancing her life between business and art, stating that she intended for her life to consist of ‘50 percent art and 50 percent business.’

In her reflections, Kulczyk emphasizes the importance of financial support for the arts, noting that artists require funding to sustain their work. She also credits her upbringing in Poznań and her parents for instilling the values of hard work, responsibility, and tradition that shaped her professional character.
