Grayscale partners with Republic to launch three crypto funds
Grayscale Investments has partnered with the Republic platform to offer three new private crypto investment products with a minimum entry of $2,500. The partnership aims to provide eligible investors access to specialized digital asset sectors that were traditionally reserved for institutional investors.
The three offerings include the Grayscale DeFi Fund, which holds assets such as Uniswap, Aave, Ondo, Ethena, Curve, and Lido; the Grayscale Decentralized AI Fund, which focuses on NEAR Protocol, Bittensor, Render, and Filecoin; and the Grayscale Data Network Trust, which invests in the DATA Network’s native token.
In the United States, participation is restricted to accredited investors under Regulation D. These products are private placements rather than exchange-traded funds (ETFs), meaning they carry risks including limited liquidity, resale restrictions, and the potential for total loss of investment.
