Grazi Xavier crowned Unidos da Ponte drum queen for 2027 Carnival

Grazi Xavier, a lawyer and influencer, has been crowned the new 'Rainha de Bateria' (Drum Queen) for the samba school Unidos da Ponte for the 2027 Carnival. The coronation ceremony featured Milton Cunha and Mestre Alex.

During the presentation, Xavier showcased three distinct costumes designed by stylist Douglas Kyarah. The outfits included a silver look, an indigenous-inspired ensemble featuring a colorful headdress and extensive beadwork, and a blue coronation outfit. The costumes utilized over 5,000 hand-applied crystals.
