Graziano Maino, President of CUBI library network, passes away

Graziano Maino, the President of the Board of Directors for CUBI (Culture Unite in Brianza and Adda), has passed away. Maino was a central figure in the establishment and development of the regional library network.

Maino played a key role in the organizational transformation of the local library system, guiding the process that led to the formal establishment of CUBI as a Special Consortial Company in July 2022. He initially served as the Sole Administrator during the entity's startup phase before becoming the President of the first Board of Directors.

Colleagues and local administrations, including those in Vimercate and Mediglia, have expressed deep condolences. He was recognized for his vision of libraries as social hubs designed to strengthen community ties and improve the quality of life for citizens.
