Great Britain wins men's gymnastics gold at European Championships in Zagreb

The European Men's Artistic Gymnastics Championships concluded in Zagreb with a dramatic team final. The British men's team, consisting of Joe Fraser, Harry Hepworth, Jonas Rushworth, Sol Scott, and Courtney Tulloch, secured the gold medal. They finished with a total of 246.278 points, narrowly defeating the Russian team, who competed under the flag of the International Gymnastics Federation, by a margin of 0.570 points.

In the junior men's all-around competition, Danil Smirnov, also competing under the International Gymnastics Federation flag, won gold with a score of 81.065, edging out Ukrainian gymnast Volodymyr Golovin by just 0.001 points. Switzerland secured third place in the senior team event.

The ten-day event, held at the Arena Zagreb, opened with a large-scale ceremony featuring music, dance, and traditional Croatian elements, including performances by Ana Rucner and Baby Lasagna.
