Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze returns to Van Cortlandt Manor for 2026

The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze is returning to Historic Van Cortlandt Manor in Croton-on-Hudson for its 2026 season. Running from September 18 through November 8 on select evenings, the event features more than 7,000 hand-carved jack o’lanterns spread across 10 acres of historic grounds.

The 2026 season introduces the longest illuminated trail in the event's history, spanning over half a mile. New themed areas include the ‘Creature Feature Forest,’ which pays homage to the manor's history as a mid-20th-century drive-in theater by featuring classic movie monsters, and ‘Literary Lane,’ which focuses on children’s fables. Other displays include a pumpkin circus, Hudson River wetlands, and an interactive dance party on the manor house lawn.

Premium experiences remain available, such as the Gourd & Goblet Tavern, which offers food and drinks in a restored 18th-century setting. Tickets for the event start at $24, and advance booking is recommended.
