Great New York State Fair announces 2026 lineup and rules

The 2026 Great New York State Fair is scheduled to run from August 26 through September 7 in Syracuse. The event will feature the Chevrolet Music Series, which includes nearly 40 national recording acts performing across two main stages: Chevy Court and Suburban Park.

New regulations for the 2026 fair include a ban on face masks and coverings, except for those with legitimate medical reasons. Additionally, while signs and placards remain prohibited within the fenced fairgrounds, new designated free-speech areas have been established near certain entrances. These areas allow for demonstrations and protests provided they have a Public Assembly Permit and do not impede the movement of fairgoers or obstruct fair attractions.
