Great Pyramid of Cholula marks 95 years of archaeological exploration

The Great Pyramid of Cholula is commemorating 95 years of systematic archaeological explorations. To mark this anniversary, a special edition of the magazine Arqueología Mexicana, titled ‘Cholula. La Gran Pirámide. Registros, mitos y enigmas’, was presented.

Lupita Cuautle, the municipal president of San Andrés Cholula, participated in the event, emphasizing the importance of scientific dissemination. She noted that sharing this knowledge helps the population value and preserve Cholulteca history, strengthening local identity and ensuring that new generations understand the region's archaeological heritage.
