Great Pyramid of Giza may contain mathematical code, researcher claims

Independent researcher Sefy Levy has proposed a new theory suggesting the Great Pyramid of Giza contains an intentional numerical system embedded within its physical dimensions. In a research paper titled ‘The Pyramid as Memory Hypothesis’, Levy argues that the monument’s height, base, and slopes were designed to preserve ancient knowledge regarding mathematics, time, and celestial cycles.

By applying fractions used by ancient Egyptian scribes to the pyramid’s measurements, Levy claims to have uncovered figures that correspond to astronomical events. For instance, one calculation yields 27.5, which closely aligns with the 27.55-day interval between successive lunar perigees. Another calculation results in the number 70, which Levy connects to the approximately 70-day interval between successive Sirius risings.

Levy further suggests that other proportions within the structure correspond to cycles involving Saturn, Jupiter, Venus, and Mars, as well as mathematical constants like pi and the golden ratio. He posits that the pyramid was constructed to last indefinitely specifically because it served as a vessel for this valuable information, describing the structure as ‘the knowledge…made stone’.
