Great Taste Awards 2026: Golden Fork winners announced for Ireland and Wales

The 2026 Great Taste Awards have announced the winners of the prestigious Golden Fork awards for Ireland and Wales, recognizing the top food and drink products from each region.

In Ireland, Green Pastures Donegal was awarded the Golden Fork for its 25% Sour Cream. The product received high praise from judges for its texture, flavor, and versatility. The family-run business, which moved to Donegal in 1988, also secured Great Taste stars for 15 other products. Bord Bia noted that the achievement reflects the craftsmanship within the Irish food industry.

In Wales, the Golden Fork was awarded to Fire and Ice for its Passion Fruit Sorbet. Selected from eight Welsh products that earned a 3-star rating, the Narberth-based artisan producer was recognized for the bold flavor and balance of its creation. The award, sponsored by Food & Drink Wales, highlights exceptional products that have achieved the highest possible rating from the Guild of Fine Food.
