Great Wall Motors launches Haval H7 hybrid SUV in El Salvador

Great Wall Motors (GWM), through Grupo Q, has introduced the Haval H7 hybrid SUV to the Salvadoran market. The lineup includes both Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) and Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) versions, designed for both urban and off-road use.

The PHEV 4WD model features a 1.5 Turbo engine paired with an electric motor, producing a combined 359 HP and 760 Nm of torque. It offers up to 126 km of pure electric autonomy and a total range of 1,100 km. The vehicle is equipped with a DHT automatic transmission, 4WD with differential lock, and 22 ADAS intelligent systems.

The HEV version delivers 244 HP and 760 Nm of torque, utilizing a DHT transmission intended to reduce fuel consumption by up to 40% compared to segment competitors. This model includes BorgWarner all-wheel drive, electronic rear differential lock, and seven driving modes for terrain such as sand, mud, and snow. Both models feature advanced interior technology, including large multimedia screens, panoramic roofs, and various driver assistance systems.
