Great Wolf Lodge investigates double homicide in Pennsylvania

Authorities are investigating a double homicide that occurred at the Great Wolf Lodge resort in the Pocono Mountains. The incident, described by resort officials as a “tragic domestic incident” involving a family in a guest room, took place on Monday in Scotrun, Monroe County.

Great Wolf Lodge Vice President of Corporate Communications Jason Lasecki stated that law enforcement determined the event was an isolated incident and verified there are no ongoing security concerns. While operations at the resort continue, a small area remains restricted due to the police investigation. The resort is offering guests the option to postpone visits without change fees if they feel uncomfortable.

The Monroe County Coroner’s Office and the Pocono Township Police Department are leading the investigation.
