Greater Anglia rail services face disruption to Stansted Airport

Rail services connecting Norwich and Stansted Airport via Cambridge are experiencing significant disruption due to a signalling fault between Thetford and Harling Road. The issue is expected to cause delays for more than four hours, with service impacts anticipated until at least 1:00 PM.

Greater Anglia reported that trains traveling toward Norwich must operate at reduced, safer speeds past a specific signal. Network Rail engineers are currently on-site working to resolve the fault.

Passengers holding advance tickets may use earlier or later services if their booked train is cancelled. Additionally, travelers delayed by 15 minutes or more may be eligible to claim partial fare compensation.
