Greater Houston area sees multiple new restaurant openings

Several new dining establishments are expanding or opening across the Greater Houston area. Taco Palenque, a Mexican fast food chain, is scheduled to open its first Cypress location later this month, offering a menu that includes tacos, quesadillas, burritos, and soups.

In Missouri City, the Japanese fast-casual restaurant Pepper Lunch is planning a new location. The establishment features an interactive dining model where meals are served on iron plates heated to 500 degrees Fahrenheit for customers to finish cooking at their tables.

Other recent openings include Luce Avenue Coffee Roasters in Pearland, which launched in early September, and a conjoined ice cream and coffee shop in League City featuring Friendswood Scoop Shop and Wayside Coffee.
