Greater Noida: 14 injured as company bus overturns on Eastern Peripheral Highway

A private company bus carrying approximately 28 to 30 employees overturned on the Eastern Peripheral Highway in the Dadri police station area of Greater Noida on Saturday, August 22.

The accident occurred near the Maicha area while the bus was traveling from Kasna toward Dadri. According to police reports, the driver attempted to avoid a vehicle ahead, causing him to turn the steering wheel sharply and lose control.

Fourteen employees sustained injuries in the crash. Local residents and Dadri police assisted in rescuing the passengers from the overturned vehicle. All injured individuals were transported by ambulance to GIMS Hospital for medical treatment. No fatalities were reported.

The incident caused temporary traffic congestion on the highway, which police managed while using heavy machinery to clear the damaged bus from the roadway.
