Greater Noida: Five family members found dead under suspicious circumstances

Five members of a single family were found dead under suspicious circumstances in Nagla Shri Padam village, located within the Rabupura police station area of Greater Noida. The deceased have been identified as Mahesh (37), his wife Lalita (35), and their three children: Laddu (11), Mishti (7), and Sakshat (3).

The incident was discovered on Saturday morning when neighbors grew concerned after the family failed to emerge from their home. Authorities, including the Food Safety Department and forensic teams, arrived at the scene to collect evidence and food samples. Preliminary investigations are focusing on potential food poisoning, as the family reportedly consumed noodles and tea the previous night.

While some local reports mention allegations of property disputes within the family, police have not confirmed these claims. Deputy Commissioner of Police Shrawan Kumar Singh stated that the exact cause of death will be determined following the results of post-mortem examinations and scientific analysis of the collected samples.
