Greater Noida police arrest driver in hit-and-run accident

A speeding car struck a man while he was crossing the road near Murti Chowk in the Bisrakh police station area of Greater Noida West. The incident occurred around 4:35 AM on September 5.

The victim sustained severe injuries, including fractures to his legs, hands, knees, and spine, and is currently receiving medical treatment. CCTV footage of the accident, which shows the high-speed impact, has circulated widely on social media.

Following the incident, the driver fled the scene. However, after an FIR was filed, the Bisrakh police identified and arrested the driver. The vehicle involved has been seized, and the accused has been sent to judicial custody as investigations continue.
