Greater Noida driver arrested after speeding car hits pedestrians

A speeding car struck between four and five people in the Knowledge Park area of Greater Noida on September 18. The incident, which occurred near GNIOT College, was captured on video and widely circulated on social media.

Reports indicate the collision may have involved individuals watching or participating in vehicle stunts. One victim, a student, reportedly suffered a fractured leg but has since been discharged from the hospital. Other victims sustained minor injuries.

Following the crash, the driver fled the scene. However, the Knowledge Park police have since seized the vehicle and arrested the suspect, identified as Manish, a resident of Ladpura in Gautam Buddh Nagar. The incident has raised significant concerns regarding road safety and reckless driving in the student-heavy National Capital Region.
