Greater Noida resident caught dumping garbage via CCTV and loudspeaker

A resident in Greater Noida’s Sector Beta 1 was caught on CCTV attempting to dump household garbage beside a public wall on the night of October 9. The incident, which occurred around 10:15 p.m., was monitored in real time by members of the local Residents' Welfare Association (RWA).

Upon spotting the individual, the RWA used the sector’s public announcement system to confront him. The man was instructed to remove the waste and was warned that he could face a fine the following morning if the garbage was not cleared. After an initial moment of confusion, the resident was seen on camera picking up the waste and leaving the area.

The footage of the intervention has since gone viral on social media, highlighting how local residential associations are utilizing surveillance technology and public address systems to enforce cleanliness and discourage illegal dumping in the community.
