Greater Poland youth football teams claim silver medals in regional tournaments

Young footballers from the small town of Kłecko secured runner‑up positions in two major regional competitions, finishing second in the 26th Turniej Tymbarku on 19 May and again on 1 June at the PROCAM CUP 2026. Their achievements highlight the dedication of players from a community of about 2,500 residents who travel long distances for training.

In parallel, a girls’ team from the Janusz Korczak Primary School in Sieraków represented the Wielkopolska region at the national Puchar Tymbark. After a challenging group stage, the squad finished ninth overall, earning a consolation trophy and demonstrating high technical skill despite physical disadvantages.

Both teams’ performances underscore the growing quality of youth football in Greater Poland, providing motivation for younger athletes and drawing attention from larger clubs.
