Greece allocates €5 million for road safety improvements in Central Greece

Fanis Spanos, the Regional Governor of Central Greece, has signed a decision to include a major road safety project in the Regional Development Program for Central Greece 2026-2030. The project, funded by the National Development Program, has secured €5,022,000.

The works will target sections of National Road 3, specifically from Brallos toward Amfikleia and the borders of Phthiotis and Boeotia. The initiative aims to improve traffic conditions and safety through the construction of 10.1 kilometers of new anti-skid asphalt.

Additional planned interventions include smoothing areas with damage or subsidence, performing safety restoration works, renewing road markings, and replacing worn-out information signs.
