Greece announces September 2026 pension payment schedule

The Greek Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, in collaboration with e-EFKA, has announced the pension payment schedule for September 2026. The distribution follows the established distinction between non-salaried and salaried pensioners.

Non-salaried pensioners, including those from OADEE, OGA, and ETAA, as well as e-EFKA pensions for those retired since January 1, 2017, will receive their payments on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. Private sector supplementary pensions for both categories will also be paid on this date.

Salaried pensioners, including those from IKA-ETAM, the Public Sector, and the Armed Forces, Security Forces, and Fire Service, are scheduled to receive payments on Friday, August 28, 2026. Additionally, OPEKA will process payments for uninsured elderly citizens on Monday, August 30, 2026.
