Greece Cinema Festival offers 3 euro tickets for new releases
The Cinema Festival returns in Greece, allowing moviegoers to watch selected films for a general admission price of 3 euros. Following a successful previous year that drew approximately 120,000 viewers, the event features a mix of new premieres and classic re-releases.
Featured new films include the historical drama “Moulin: The Resistance” by Hungarian director Laszlo Nemes, which focuses on the arrest of French Resistance leader Jean Moulin, and Tariq Saleh’s political thriller “Eagles of Democracy.” Other new titles include the romantic comedy “Wicker,” starring Olivia Colman and Alexander Skarsgard, the Nigerian drama “My Father’s Shadow,” and “Coyote vs. Acme.”
Additionally, the classic film “It’s a Wonderful Life” by Frank Capra is being re-released in theaters to commemorate the 80th anniversary of its premiere.
