Greece daylight saving time transition details

The seasonal transition from summer time to winter time is approaching. In Greece, clocks are scheduled to be set back one hour on the early morning of Saturday, October 24, 2026, marking the return to standard time.

While the European Commission proposed a directive in September 2018 to abolish biannual time changes across the European Union, no final decision or timeline has been established. Consequently, the current system of switching between summer and winter time remains in effect to extend daylight hours during the summer months.
