Public sector recruitment drives announced in EU and Greece

Various public sector recruitment drives and political developments are underway in Greece and the European Union. The European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO) has announced a competition for 494 administrative positions within EU institutions, with monthly salaries reaching up to €10,082.77.

In Greece, the Supreme Council for Civil Personnel Selection (ASEP) has issued a call for 97 permanent and contract positions for specialized scientific personnel across 31 public sector entities, including various ministries, independent authorities, and the National Organization for Medicines. Additionally, the Municipality of Athens is seeking two university graduates for social intervention projects related to Roma communities, offering monthly compensation of €1,650.

On the political front, the Greek Left Coalition (ELAS) has issued sharp criticisms against the New Democracy government. Spokespersons Theoni Koufonikolakou and Kostas Karpouchtsis targeted Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis and government spokesperson Pavlos Marinakis, criticizing the administration's handling of healthcare and fuel price measures.
