Greece football team leads Nations League group as Olympiacos targets Chivas defender

The Greek national football team remains undefeated in Group B of the Nations League, currently leading the group with seven points. Following recent victories against Serbia and Germany, Greece secured a 2-2 draw against the Netherlands, with goals from Fotis Ioannidis and Giorgos Masouras. This performance draws comparisons to the nation's historic Euro 2004 championship run.

In club news, Olympiacos has expressed interest in Chivas defender Diego Campillo. Following the successful European move of Mexican forward ‘La Hormiga’ González to the Greek side, Olympiacos is reportedly monitoring Campillo for a potential transfer during the upcoming winter market. The defender has become a key figure for Chivas and has recently been included in the Mexican national team squad.
