Greece Forecasts Reduced Weather Instability and Higher Temperatures on May 25

Greek meteorologists project a gradual decline in weather instability for Monday, 25 May, with temperatures rising to typical summer levels. The forecast calls for daytime highs of 26‑30 °C across most regions, reaching up to 29‑30 °C locally.

Despite the overall calming trend, isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected mainly over the mainland, with the possibility of brief downpours in the eastern continental and southern island areas. Strong north‑westerly winds (bores) will continue over the Aegean Sea, reaching force 6‑7 on the Beaufort scale.

Athens is likely to see clear skies with only a few light showers in the north, while Thessaloniki may experience afternoon thunderstorms. By Tuesday, conditions should improve further, with more sunshine and limited rain, especially in the northern part of the country.
