Greece hosts traditional festivals in Kakotari, Koniska, and Argyro Pigadi

Several regional festivals celebrating local traditions took place in Greece on October 25, 2026. In Kakotari, the 2nd Tsipouro Festival was organized by the Municipality of Ancient Olympia and the Kakotari Cultural Association, highlighting the traditional production process of the spirit and its connection to local viticulture.

In the Municipality of Thermos, the Koniska Tsipouro Festival featured demonstrations of spirit distillation by ILEK members and traditional dances by the Thermos Cultural Club. Additionally, the Chestnut Festival was held in Argyro Pigadi, organized by a local association in cooperation with the KOINSEP ‘Orevini’, which drew visitors despite rainy weather to enjoy chestnuts and local delicacies.
