Greek Ministry of National Defence integrates military academies into Eudoxus service

The Greek Ministry of National Defence has signed a programmatic agreement with the National Technological Infrastructure and Research Network (EDYTE) to integrate military academies into the ‘Eudoxus’ service. This initiative provides students at Higher Military Educational Institutions (ASEI) and Higher Schools for Non-Commissioned Officers (ASMY) with organized access to the distribution of academic publications.

The project is part of the ‘Agenda 2030’ reform aimed at transforming the Armed Forces through upgraded education, digital capabilities, and investment in human resources. Defense Minister Nikos Dendias stated that upgrading the Armed Forces involves not only equipment but primarily the knowledge and training of personnel, describing them as the ‘main force multiplier’.

The agreement has a budget of 347,200 euros and covers three consecutive academic years from 2026–2027 to 2028–2029, with a final completion date of August 31, 2029. The scope includes the initial development, implementation, and integration of the service, as well as ongoing maintenance and support for academic distribution.
