The National Transparency Authority has launched a series of inspections targeting 118 medical structures and providers in Greece following online research into illegal medical service advertisements. Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis confirmed that the investigations were initiated at his request to address irregular practices in the healthcare sector.

Initial findings from the inspections have revealed several significant violations. In one instance, a biopathologist's laboratory was found operating without its scientific supervisor present. Additionally, six types of injectable aesthetic products, including hyaluronic acid and fillers, were discovered in a laboratory refrigerator without any purchase documentation.

Other findings include a physical therapy center equipped with bio-resonance devices and machines for intestinal hydrotherapy and lipolysis. Investigators also identified a provider offering ‘quantum bio-resonance’ services that was operating as a clinic without recognized Greek medical qualifications. Further inspections are ongoing to address consumer complaints and ensure compliance with medical regulations.
