Greece launches myLEX digital legislative portal
The Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) and the Ministry of National Economy and Finance have launched myLEX, a new digital portal for legislative information. The platform was officially presented at a special event attended by Deputy Minister Dimitris Markopoulos, along with representatives from various ministries, professional associations, including accounting and legal groups, and academic institutions.
myLEX serves as a unified, interconnected digital environment that centralizes the legislative and regulatory frameworks regarding taxation, customs, and the General Chemical Laboratory. The portal is free to the public and is designed to assist citizens, businesses, and professionals by providing accurate and rapid access to legal information.
Key features of the portal include the codification and unification of tax and customs laws, keyword-based search functionality, and the interconnection of primary legislation with related decisions, circulars, and instructions. It also allows users to track legislative changes over time and identify the specific legal framework that was in effect during a particular period. The system includes 1,000 administrative codifications of primary legislation linked to over 4,000 related legislative acts.
