Greece launches new digital platforms for social security and youth mental health
Greece is implementing new digital services to improve public administration and mental health support. The e-EFKA social security organization has launched a new digital platform for citizens to submit inquiries, reports, and complaints. This subsystem is part of an integrated information system designed to automate requests and reduce the need for in-person visits or emails.
In the healthcare sector, the 6th Health Region is preparing a digital counseling service for Generation Z through the HealthyMinds cross-border program. Based in Patras, the initiative provides remote psychological support for individuals aged 17 and older. The program, which has a budget of approximately 1.37 million euros, includes a team of psychologists and social workers, mental health research in schools and universities, and digital tools to help manage anxiety.
