Greece nursery voucher registration begins in Thira and Athens

Registration processes for nursery and kindergarten vouchers are underway in different parts of Greece.

In the Municipality of Thira, parents and guardians must electronically submit their vouchers, scoring forms, and required documentation—including health status reports and vaccination records—by Tuesday, August 25, 2026. Placement is determined by a scoring system, with lower family income serving as a tie-breaker.

In Athens, the registration process for beneficiaries of ESPA vouchers for the Municipal Nursery of Athens (DBA) begins on Wednesday, August 26. Eligible children include infants aged 6 months to 2.5 years and toddlers up to the age of compulsory education. To complete enrollment, legal representatives must schedule an appointment via the DBA electronic platform to sign necessary contracts at the nursery offices in Sepolia.
