Greek “Pothen Esches” 2026 platform opens for asset declarations

The electronic “Pothen Esches” platform for filing 2026 asset‑declaration statements opened on Monday 3 August 2026. Users must log in with their Taxisnet credentials and can automatically pull data from banks, investment accounts, real‑estate registers, vehicle records and other financial sources. The law requires each obligated person – including judges, lawyers, elected officials and other public servants – to verify that all information is complete and accurate, including details for spouses, co‑habitation partners and minor children. The final deadline for submitting the declaration is 24 October 2026; a corrective filing may be made within 30 days after that deadline if the original submission was on time. Late submissions incur electronic fines that vary by category: 50 or 200 euros for delays up to 30 days, and 100 or 400 euros for longer delays.
