The e-EFKA has announced the payment schedule for September 2026 pensions in Greece, involving a total distribution of over 2.43 billion euros to millions of beneficiaries.
The first wave of payments is scheduled for Wednesday, August 26, 2026. While the official date is the 26th, funds are typically available at ATMs starting the afternoon of Tuesday, August 25.
The second wave will occur on Friday, August 28, 2026. This includes main pensions from former salaried funds (such as IKA-ETAM, banks, OTE, and DEI), NAT, ETAT, and ETAP-MME, as well as both main and supplementary pensions for public sector employees. These funds are generally accessible via ATMs starting the afternoon of Thursday, August 27.
Additionally, OPEKA social and precautionary benefits, including housing, child, and disability allowances, are scheduled for payment on August 31, though beneficiaries may see funds in their accounts as early as Friday, August 28.
