Greece police conduct multiple arrests for drugs and weapons

Greek police have conducted several operations across various regions resulting in multiple arrests for drug possession, cultivation, and weapons violations.

In Western Greece, authorities in Patras arrested a man for weapons violations after he attempted to discard a 22-centimeter kitchen knife upon seeing officers. In Eleia, police discovered and seized 13 cannabis plants, ranging from 0.5 to 2.5 meters in height, being grown in pots outside a residence. In Agrinio, a search of a home led to the seizure of 32.6 grams of raw cannabis, 6 grams of processed cannabis known as ‘chocolate’, and a handmade cigarette.

In Corinth, a 33-year-old man was arrested for possession of a small amount of cannabis. Meanwhile, in Thessaloniki, a 22-year-old man was apprehended near the New Railway Station after allegedly threatening a 24-year-old with a sharp object to steal money and a mobile phone. A small amount of raw cannabis was also found in his possession.
