New Democracy leads Greek polls following Thessaloniki announcements

New polling data from GPO, following recent political announcements at the Thessaloniki International Fair (DETh), shows New Democracy (ND) maintaining a significant lead in Greece. In terms of estimated vote share, ND stands at 30.6%, followed by the Greek Left Coalition (ELAS) at 16% and PASOK at 12.8%. In direct voting intention, ND holds 25.8%, ELAS 13.5%, and PASOK 10.8%.

Regarding the perceived realism of political programs, 44.6% of respondents consider Kyriakos Mitsotakis’s program to be costed and realistic. In contrast, only 20.4% hold the same view regarding Alexis Tsipras’s plan, and 24.9% for PASOK’s program.

On leadership persuasion, Mitsotakis led with 25.9%, followed by Tsipras at 15.5% and Nikos Androulakis at 10.6%. Notably, 45.9% of those surveyed stated that “none of the three” leaders were particularly persuasive. The poll also indicates a fragmented parliamentary landscape, with parties such as Hellenic Solution (9%) and KKE (8.8%) competing for significant positions.
