Hellenic Republic issues 400 million euros in Treasury bills

The Hellenic Republic is proceeding with a new issuance of 52-week Treasury bills totaling 400 million euros. Announced by the Public Debt Management Agency, the auction is scheduled for Wednesday, September 2, 2026, with a maturity date of September 3, 2027. The settlement date is set for Friday, September 4, 2026.

Individual investors are permitted to participate through public subscription at any bank or investment company, with a maximum nominal value of 15,000 euros per person. The sale price will be determined by the weighted average price of successful competitive bids. To participate, individuals must hold a securities account.

Separately, HEDNO has announced various scheduled power outages across several Greek regions due to technical maintenance and network upgrades. Affected areas include parts of Crete (Heraklion, Chania, Rethymno, and Lasithi), Phthiotis, Lamia, and Attica (including central Athens and various northern, southern, and western suburbs). Residents are advised to disconnect electrical appliances and avoid using elevators during these periods.
