Greece political polls show New Democracy leading ahead of 2027 elections

Recent opinion polls from Pulse and Metron Analysis indicate that New Democracy (ND) maintains a significant lead in Greece ahead of the anticipated 2027 national elections. In the Pulse survey, ND holds 30% in voter estimation and 26% in voting intention, maintaining a 13.5 percentage point lead over the Greek Left Alliance (ELAS). PASOK follows in third place with 13% in estimation and 11% in intention.

Metron Analysis results show a similar trend, with ND at 30% in estimation, though some metrics suggest a potential drop below 25% in voting intention. The polls suggest a highly fragmented political landscape, with up to ten parties potentially entering Parliament. Other notable parties include Hellenic Solution, KKE, and Pleusi Eleftherias.

Regarding governance, 43% of respondents prefer a single-party majority government, while 36% favor a coalition. Economic factors and the cost of living are cited as the primary drivers for voter decision-making. In leadership suitability, Kyriakos Mitsotakis leads as the most suitable Prime Minister candidate, followed by Alexis Tsipras.

Political shifts are also noted, including the emergence of the Alliance of Greeks and the movement of Dionysis Kalamatianos from SYRIZA to ELAS.
