Greece Race for the Cure returns to Athens in October 2026
The 18th Greece Race for the Cure is scheduled to take place on October 3 and 4, 2026, in Athens. Organized by the Panhellenic Association of Women with Breast Cancer ‘Alma Zois’ in collaboration with the Organization of Culture, Sports and Youth of the Municipality of Athens (OPANDA), the event is held with the approval of Think Pink Europe and under the auspices of the Hellenic Police and the Attica Region.
As the second largest Race for the Cure event globally, the program includes a 5-kilometer run starting at 8:45 a.m. on Alexandras Avenue and a 2-kilometer walk starting at 10:30 a.m. Participants can also join via digital participation through social media. Registrations are conducted exclusively online, with fees ranging from 10 to 12 euros. The event aims to promote breast cancer prevention, support, and solidarity.
