Greece ranks third in online tourism reputation

Greece has ranked third in online reputation among major tourist destinations, trailing only Croatia and Portugal. According to data analyzed by the Institute of the Greek Tourism Enterprises (INSETE) in collaboration with TCI Research, the country outperformed traditional tourism leaders such as Italy and Spain based on traveler reviews and ratings.

Positive feedback centered on Greek culture, gastronomy, and the quality of human resources, particularly during the peak months of April, May, and June. However, negative reviews highlighted concerns regarding environmental issues like heatwaves, the presence of invasive species, and social challenges, such as the absence of tourist buses in Santorini during the high season.
