Greece reports deaths of two young women in Chania and Xanthi

Two separate tragic incidents have been reported in Greece involving the deaths of young women.

In Chania, Alexandra G. Tzagaraki passed away suddenly at the age of 39. Her funeral is scheduled to take place this Friday at the Holy Church of Agios Charalambos in Lentariana, with burial to follow at the Agia Foteini Cemetery in Chalepa. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the parish's philanthropic fund.

In Xanthi, a 29-year-old woman has died following a fall from the fourth floor of an apartment building at the intersection of Mikras Asias and Marathonos streets. After the incident, she was treated at Xanthi General Hospital before being transferred to the Intensive Care Unit at Kavala Hospital. Despite being under medical care and on life support since August 14, she succumbed to her injuries. Her funeral was held at the Holy Church of the Metamorphosis of the Savior in Xanthi.
