Greece rolls out digital farm land registry and green office campus

The Greek tax authority is launching a new digital Registry of Ownership and Management of Real Estate (M.I.D.A.) focused on agricultural properties. The system will integrate data from the E9 property declaration database, the cadastral registry and the land‑property records (OSDE). It will enable cross‑checks of land parcels to verify the eligibility of owners for October agricultural subsidies, expose discrepancies in declared area or usage, and create an individual digital folder for each property containing details such as size, location, cadastral codes and utility connections.

Separately, the Public Power Corporation (DEI) and real‑estate developer Dimand have created a joint venture, Powerhub Properties AE, to build a €176 million bioclimatic office campus on Leoforos Mesogeion 211 in Athens. The 29,900 m² above‑ground complex, with extensive underground parking and green roofs, will feature geothermal heat pumps, 750 photovoltaic panels and rain‑water collection, aiming for LEED Platinum and WELL Platinum certification. Construction is underway with completion expected in mid‑2028, and the project includes commercial, retail and wellness facilities.
