Greece sees improving weather with sunshine returning Sunday

On Saturday 13 June, eastern and southern parts of Greece experienced atmospheric instability, with clouds, rain and isolated thunderstorms affecting areas such as Macedonia, Thrace, the northern Aegean islands, the Sporades and Crete. Temperatures ranged from the mid‑20s to low‑30s °C and winds came from the north.

From Sunday 14 June onward, the unstable pattern weakened. Most of the country enjoyed clear skies and abundant sunshine, with temperatures climbing toward 30‑35 °C. Isolated local showers were still possible in the Peloponnese, Crete and some northern inland spots. Monday 15 June continued the clearing trend, featuring gentle breezes and a further modest rise in temperature across Greece.
