Greece sees serious traffic crashes in Aspropyrgos and Loutraki

A collision between two passenger cars on a road near the Thessaloniki‑Athens highway in Aspropyrgos resulted in one person being injured. Witnesses reported a notable delay in the arrival of an ambulance, extending the victim’s distress before transport to a hospital.

In Loutraki, a 16‑year‑old riding an electric scooter was dragged under a vehicle that entered a nearby narrow street. The teen suffered a broken collarbone and other serious injuries, requiring emergency transport to General Hospital of Corinth and an anticipated surgical procedure. Police and emergency services responded promptly, and the traffic police are investigating the causes of both accidents.
