Greek e‑EFKA and DYPA to disburse €2.49 bn in July payments

The Ministry of Labour and Social Security announced that a total of €2,492,777,459.09 will be paid to 4,333,061 beneficiaries between 27 July and 31 July 2026.

From e‑EFKA: €1,322,356,333.15 will be transferred on 28 July to 2,621,877 recipients for main and supplementary pensions for August 2026; €1,113,621,125.94 will be paid on 30 July to 1,655,856 recipients for the same pensions; an additional €2,800,000 will go on 30 July to 7,600 people as advance pension payments under law 4778/2021; €14,500,000 will be distributed between 27‑31 July to 650 people following one‑off decisions; and €1,800,000 will be refunded on 29 July to 498 pensioners for overpaid contributions.

From DYPA: €16,000,000 will be paid to 26,000 claimants as unemployment benefits; €1,000,000 will go to 1,500 mothers for subsidised maternity leave; €20,000,000 will be allocated to 19,000 participants in employment‑programme subsidies; and €700,000 will be given to 80 institutions for contributions to public‑interest programmes. All payments are automatic to bank accounts; no new applications are required.
