Greece announces September 2026 pension payment schedule
The Greek Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, together with the e‑EFKA system, has set the dates for September 2026 pension disbursements. Payments will be made in two batches: non‑salaried pensioners (including OAEE, OGA and ETAA funds) will receive their main and supplementary pensions on Wednesday 26 August 2026, while salaried pensioners (including IKA‑ETAM, public sector and other salaried funds) will be paid on Friday 28 August 2026. The amounts are expected to appear in bank accounts and ATMs the afternoon before the scheduled payment day.
Additional payments include temporary pensions for armed forces and security personnel on 28 August, and the OPEKA pension for uninsured seniors on Monday 30 August 2026. All payments follow the established separation between salaried and non‑salaried contributors as mandated by law 4387/2016.
