Greece Sets Stage for 2026 Wakeboard Championship and Super League Draw

The municipality of Kozani will host the 2026 Pan‑European Wakeboard Championship. An opening ceremony is scheduled for 14 July 2026 in the town’s central square, followed by competitions from 15‑18 July at Lake Polyfytos. More than 130 athletes from 15 countries will take part, with the event organized by the Naval Club of Servia in cooperation with the Hellenic Waterski Federation and supported by the Western Macedonia Region and the Greek Tourism Organization.

In Kalamata, the draw for the 2026‑2027 Stoiximan Super League will be held on 16 July at the BLE AZURE venue on the Alimos beach, Athens, and will be broadcast live. This marks the first time in 25 years that Kalamata’s name appears in the league draw. The season is set to begin on 22‑23 August with 14 teams, including the newly promoted Kalamata and Iraklis Thessaloniki. The announcement also notes the upcoming deadline for the Greek Cup entries and the Super Cup match scheduled for 12 August.
