Greece tax deadlines: Income tax and ENFIA installments due August 31

Taxpayers in Greece face several upcoming deadlines at the end of August. Monday, August 31, is the deadline for the second installment of income tax, which applies to employees, retirees, freelancers, and businesses. Additionally, the sixth installment of the ENFIA property tax is due by the end of the month.

Businesses are also required to pay the VAT for July by the end of August. The income tax is structured into eight monthly installments, with the final payment scheduled for February 2027. Similarly, the ENFIA property tax is being paid in twelve monthly installments this year, also concluding in February 2027.

For those unable to meet these obligations, the tax authority offers permanent settlement options. Regular debts such as income tax, ENFIA, and VAT can be settled in up to 24 installments, while other debts like inheritance or gift taxes can be spread over up to 48 installments. Applications for these arrangements can be made electronically via the myAADE platform.
